These belts are flexible and can be used on small diameter pulleys for high rpm applications. The cogs provide additional room for dissipation of heat generated due to friction, resulting in longer belt life. This type of belt transmits more power than wrapped belts.

Special top rubber layer without fabric
Specially designed rubber layer on the top of the belt has better ozone resistance characteristics than fabric, hence no chances of cracking due to flexing.

Tough tensile member for greater strength
Specially treated stabilized polyester cord provides high tensile strength with minimum stretch, which in turn, gives V-belts superior resistance to fatigue and shock loads. Enables the maximum power transmission.

Oil & Heat resistant
Polychloroprene used throughout the belt provides the oil & head resistance properties to the belt. It also helps the V-belt resist ozone, sunlight, weather and aging.

Molded Cogs
Molded cogs allow the Raw Edge belts to operate even over a smaller diameter pulley at high speeds. The cogs also help in reducing the bending stress. As well as providing the higher surface area for proper heat dissipation.

Polychloroprene cushion rubber compound
Ensures the best possible bond between the base compound, the tension cord & the rubber impregnated fabric top surface that provides long service without cord separation.

Fiber filled polychloroprene base compound
Gives increased power transmission capability; superior transverse stiffness and high wear resistance.

Micro-Rib K series
Ribbed belts combine advantages of V-belts and Flat belts. These are extra flexible and transmit more power than a cogged belt at higher RPM’s.
